OUR HISTORY

Family-owned and Operated since 1948

Corn’s Collision Center, Inc. is a family-owned vehicle repair business (autos, light trucks, heavy trucks, buses, fleet, recreational vehicles, and airplane painting) that was started by Wilson Corn in 1948 when he was honorably discharged from the United States Army after World War II.  From that time forward, seventy-four (74) years, it has proudly served the local and surrounding communities.

In the mid-1980 Mr. Corn retired and passed the business to his son Larry Corn.  Larry expanded the business by adding frame equipment, a second building and estimating software.  He retired in 2002 and passed the business to his son Brandon Corn.  Until that time the business operated under a dba, Corn Body Shop.  In December of 2002, Brandon incorporated the business as a Sub-Chapter S corporation and changed the name to Corn’s Collision Center, Inc.

Since Brandon took over the business it has expanded and grown, not only in terms of sales, but improved and expanded facilities, additional qualified personnel, even better-estimating software and programs to meet OEM specifications and procedures, and new equipment to assist in the repair of vehicles.  In 2016 a 5400-square-foot expansion was completed bringing the total building square footage to 17,400.

In addition to insurance work and regular customer relationships that the company has built over the years, some of the major accomplishments to date are:

  • In 2009 we started repairing buses for Texas A&M University Transportation Services on an as-needed basis. In 2015 they awarded us a contract for body and paint work, replacing bus floors, and manufacturing universal bus panels for the Nova and Millennium buses.  In 2019 we were also awarded a contract to repair Texas A&M fleet vehicles.  These contracts are still in force as of 2022.
  • In 2011 we realized there was a need for Paintless Dent Repair work in the local and surrounding communities. Realizing this need we immediately completed the necessary training in order to provide this service.
  • In 2017, 2019 and 2022, we were awarded a vehicle repair contract with the City of College Station, Texas
  • Some other significant relationships are Holman Fleet (formerly ARI Fleet); Rush Truck Center, Bryan, Texas, Bryan, Texas; Allen Samuels Chevrolet Buick GMC, Hearne, Texas.

Our Mission

• To provide exceptional repair work and the highest level of service to our customers.

• To provide a significant return on investment to our shareholders and employees.

• To give back to the communities that we serve.
